FAQ'S

Q: When do I need to be there?

A: Please arrive at the NORTH END of Belmont Harbor at G dock, at least 10 minutes prior to launch. You will be met by “Captain Norm” at the gate for dock G.

Q: Where do I go?

A: The boat is located at the NORTH END of Belmont Harbor on G dock. Call 773-257-3559 if no one is at the gate.

Q: How do I get there?

A: Northbound on LSD:

Exit at Recreation Drive, which is the next exit north of the Belmont exit. Turn right at the first stop sign. As you head south, you’ll come to another stop sign. Go straight and you’ll come to a public (pay box) lot. Park in this lot and then walk to “G” dock. Note: You’ll see boats on your RIGHT as you head south.

Southbound on LSD:

Exit  at Irving Park Road. As you exit for Irving Park Road, you’ll be heading south and come to a yield sign. Continue south to the light at Irving Park Road. Turn left at Irving Park Road (going under LSD) and continue heading east. Turn right just after the northbound exit ramp and head south toward the harbor. Go past the first parking lot (ball fields and tennis courts on the left). Continue on through two stop signs. When you see the boats on your right, park in the public (pay box) lot and walk to “G” dock. Note: You’ll see boats on your RIGHT as you head south.

Eastbound on Irving Park Road:

Continue heading east (going under LSD) and continue heading east. Turn right just after the northbound exit ramp and head south toward the harbor. Go past the first parking lot (ball fields and tennis courts on the left). Continue on through two stop signs. When you see the boats on your right, park in the public (pay box) lot and walk to “G” dock. Note: You’ll see boats on your RIGHT as you head south.

Eastbound on Belmont:

Heading eastbound on Belmont, go under LSD and then make a left (northbound). Exit at Recreation Drive, which is the next exit on Lake Shore Drive north of Belmont. Turn right at the first stop sign. As you head south, you’ll come to another stop sign. Go straight and you’ll come to a public (pay box) lot. Park in this lot and then walk to “G” dock. Note: You’ll see boats on your RIGHT as you head south.

Q: What do I bring?

A: You will be more comfortable if you bring; sun block, soft soled shoes please (less wear and tear on our deck), a hat, sunglasses, and a light jacket (it’s always a few degrees cooler along the lake). We'll have water on board. Feel free to bring snacks and/or beverages of choice. If you are bringing wine (for after the sail), please no red.
